My name is Lucie Petová.
In my early twenties, yoga came into my life.
Through life experiences and traveling I started to explore what yoga really does mean for me.
It has been a beautiful ride!
I had a chance to study with many wonderful teachers who inspired me in many ways. I became so passionate about the influence of yoga on the human mind and body. I'm very honored to share these practices and I truly believe that they can transform people's lives.
Yoga completely changed my life. I gained much more discipline, clarity, focus, and inner stability. Yoga is uniting all parts of me into one.
Yoga is precious tool, giving me a chance to tap into the pure awareness of the present moment.
Guiding yoga classes truly fulfill my life and bring me so much pleasure and happiness.
My classes are focused on breath based Hatha yoga.
However, you can find a lot of elements from Vinyasa Krama yoga as well.
My aim is to show you safe and progressive practice - step by step - asana, pranayama, meditation.
Embodied practices are easy to follow.
I teach how to establish comfortable inner alignment of posture which naturally brings physical strength and creates synchronicity between movement and breath.
You will find long relaxations in Shavasana as well as meditations at the end of each practice.
Safe and gradual process of practice helps to explore the body and uncover one's potential.
The breath is the guide. Breath helps us to set up not only inner, but outer alignment and takes
us deeper into experience.

My classes are inspired by teachings of a great yogi - Krishnamacharya who is also called "the father of modern yoga". I follow the philosophy of Advaita Vedanta, non-duality. My meditations are inspired by Hridaya yoga school. I'm a graduate of Akasha yoga Academy and I´m certified as a Yoga lap breath instructor.
